Built for people who work with data,
not for people who write code.
Dataptic is an open source, node-based data pipeline builder that runs entirely in your browser. No installs. No backend. No account. Just open the playground and start building.
The idea is simple: data transformation is a solved problem, but the tools that exist are either too technical (pandas, SQL, dbt) or too limited (Excel). There's a large gap in between — people who understand their data but don't want to write code every time they need to clean, filter, or reshape it.
Dataptic fills that gap. You drag nodes onto a canvas, connect them, and your pipeline runs instantly. Every node shows a live preview. When you're done, export as CSV or Excel. Your data never leaves your machine.
Open Source
Dataptic is MIT licensed and fully open source. The entire codebase is on GitHub. You can self-host it, fork it, contribute to it, or just read it. No hidden features, no paywalled nodes, no telemetry.
What's coming
The current version runs entirely client-side with local storage. A cloud version is in the works — with saved pipelines, team sharing, and database connectors. If you want to be notified when it launches, you can join the waitlist on the homepage.
